According to a post written by Brent Ozar, There are many wait types in SQL Server that are safe to ignore. Several of the types mentioned in his post are not ignored by default in SQL Diagnostic Manager. There is a table that holds a list of ignorable wait types in the SQL Diagnostic Manager repository database. This SQL file, when run against the repository, will add the missing ignorable types to prune your wait view a bit.
