Alert Profile Test Fails

I have an alert profile which is set to email. When I test it I get this message and no emails are received.


Task AlertProfile-4 failed: null


In the alert profile, delivery type – email  – is ticked.


There are two of us in the notification group it is using and in the notification group settings, everything is ticked.

I tested email / snmp from the config tab and that was successful.


I’m not sure where to go from here. This is on Uptime Version 7.4.0
