With SQL Enterprise Job Manager, users can configure and manage jobs that run over multiple instances and customize jobs and their status collection to optimize balance between performance and data across SQL Server and Azure SQL databases using a single web-based user interface console that could be used remotely from anywhere. A flexible system of tailor-made alert rules that allows notifications to be generated across a broad range of significant, disruptive or undesired executions.

Improved and extended support for the job chain schedule operation to enhance usability. Administrators will now be able to set flexible customization options when using the job wizard that simplifies time-consuming processes.
Addressed compatibility and dependency matters that streamlined the product installation process. These enhancements greatly simplify the installation and initial trial experience and should result in decreased support calls.
