New benefits DB PowerStudio users will receive by using version 18.7
- Enhanced Security authorizations for DB Change Manager, DBArtisan, Rapid SQL, and DB Optimizer
- DBArtisan, Rapid SQL, DB Optimizer, and DB Change Manager users can now leverage multi-factor authentication (MFA) using the identity provider Microsoft Entra, formerly Azure Active Directory (AD), when managing Oracle Databases. Now when connecting to Oracle our users gain the inherent security policies and procedures from Microsoft Entra and must only enter their password once.
- Enhanced DB2 Performance in DB Change Manager
- Added options in DB2 Data Synchronization to optimize performance and maintain data integrity, ensuring accurate data and avoiding bottlenecks.
- Additional options in DB2 DB Change Manager were added that improve comparisons of Triggers and Sequence Columns, providing the user the benefit of consistency across schemas.
- Code Development capabilities with Azure DevOps for DBArtisan and Rapid SQL
- DBArtisan and Rapid SQL have been tested to provide the benefits of planning, collaborating, and code development using Azure DevOps Git repository for Project management. This allows developers to log in to Azure DevOps via a token and manage their code for history, check-in, and checkout capabilities.
