We are pleased to announce the general availability of SQL Workload Analysis 1.7.0. (SWA). Existing users may upgrade to this version through the Idera Customer Portal. New users may download the trial version from the Idera SWA trial download. This release includes the following changes:
What’s New in SQL Workload Analysis 1.7.0?
This release provides the Performance Management Database (PMDB) as an MS-SQL Database. This replaces the old Postgres PMDB database.
The SWA collector has also been re-designed to allow multiple collector services to service many MS-SQL instances.
To take advantage of this release, you will need to install SWA 1.7.0 as a new install. No upgrade from earlier releases is possible.
SWA 1.7.0 also includes a comprehensive fix pack release addressing a number of quality improvements.
