Hey everyone… I’m a very new user of SQLdm having had licenses since August last year. We have 43 instances registered and have grooming set:
Standard metrics and baselines older than 365 days
Sessions, Queries, Deadlocks, Waits and History older than 21 days
Inactive alerts older than 7 days
Aggregation of query data after 31 days
Change log data older than 14 days.
Grooming happens daily and is succeeding.
Our repository is now 69GB in size!
I guess a lot of this space is being taken by query data and we want the query data… but is there a way to see how particular instances are hogging space and to sensibly prune or limit those particular beasts?
