by May 16, 2009

I get the following error when testing a service that I created using the logscanner script, I am not a perl expert so I do not know what this means, help anyone.

Status ok
Message: perl; warning setting locale failednperl:warning: Please check that your locale setting_nLC_ALL=(unset)nLC_FASTMSG=truenLANG=en_US.iso88591n are supported and installed on your systemnperl;warning: Falling back to the standard locale(“C”);nsh:/usr/local/uptime4/bin/netcat:not foundn

The collecter is an AIX server running V5.3 TL7 SP6
The clients are all AIX servers running the same version.

I would appreciate any help toward the solution or maybe this is okay but I get teh alert that looks like this to my email
