Our March #SQLChat took place Wednesday, March 9 at 11 AM CT. This Twitter Chat was hosted by both John Sterrett and Robert Vandervoort and was centered around “DBAs Role in Data Modeling.”
Due to IDERA’s recent addition of database development solutions, this was the first #SQLChat that incorporated data modelers. Questions covered tools used for data modeling, how involved DBAs are in data modeling, challenges encountered with data modeling, etc. Also, congratulations to Lance Tidwell, winner of our Fitbit charge.

Our next Twitter Chat will be hosted by Rie Irish (@IrishSQL) on Tuesday, April 12 at 11 AM CT. We will be discussing Migrating SQL Server. April 12 is the same date SQL Server 2005 falls out of service, so this chat will be great for discussing lessons learned and tips for future migrations. We hope to see you there!
