A similar question was asked in the thread above, basically we have configured uptime so that all of our services/applications are listed once and then we have multiple service groups which have the individual services/applications within them. Due to the different different versions and different servers we supply 1 service/aplication can be in quite a few Service Groups.

It would be really good if there was an option to update the original service/application and ALL Service Groups using this are updated. To get around this at the moment i am simply removing them from the service group and then adding them back up. This is quicker than making changes to each service within the service groups individually, the more we add to uptime the more complicated this becomes.

In the thread above Chris mentions its currently setup so that if a change is made by accident to the original service then it doesnt effect the ones within the service group, this is ideal for some situations but not all /smile.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:)” border=”0″ alt=”smile.gif” />

Thoughts Appreciated.
