Mysql Status Plugin Monitor

About:

This plugin monitor is designed for use with up.time 4.
This monitor gathers data from a MySQL database using the “Status” command.

It will gather the following stats:
– Connections/threads connected
– Open Tables
– Average Queries per Second

Dependencies

a. A MySQL server with the proper user privileges setup.

b. Perl must be installed on the up.time monitoring station. Perl
comes preinstalled on most Solaris and Linux operating systems, the
expected default path is /usr/bin/perl. To download Perl for Windows
visit http://www.activestate.com.
