I'm at the point where I need a monitor for uptime. Is there an easy way to determine when up.time sent out it's last alert without having to grep through logfiles and figure out what different warnings mean to get nagios to say oh uptime is not monitoring the systems it is supposed to be monitoring? Maybe something that can say the thread or db pools are being hammered? Ideally I'd love to know when up.time stops monitoring so that someone on our team can take a look and fix the issue or file a support bug should that be needed.
