PowerShell to change UAC in Windows Server 2012r2

by Mar 11, 2017

Greetings ,

I'm in need of your help.

While automating our product installation, we have to perform below task. But but i didn't find any solution to automate the task in PowerShell. Could some help me out in this regard.

Open Group Policy Object Editor:

Start, Run, gpedit.msc

Expand: Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Security Settings, Local Policies, Security Options.

In the right pane change the following (“UAC” stands for “User Account Control”):

UAC: Behavior of the Elevation prompt for Administrators… Elevate Without Prompting

UAC: Run all administrators in…                   Disabled

Thanks in advance.
