Problem With Solaris Install

by Jun 26, 2008

I have a problem with the install of up.time 5 monitoring station for Solaris 10 (SPARC). I've finished the install and it reported everything to be just fine.
Also started the daemons but when on entering the up.time webserver i encounter a error message:
up.time Data Collector is unavailable.
Please contact your up.time administrator to have the Data Collector restarted.

For instructions on how to restart up.time click here

So i continue by restarting the said process with /etc/init.d/uptime_core stop and /etc/init.d/uptime_core start
and get “Sending output to nohup.out” from the start command.

Still after this restart i get the same error on the webserver.

Any pointers?
