This is the first time I've posted in this forum. So, please bear with me…
We've had uptime installed on our IBM production server, running AIX, for a couple of years now. I generate daily reports re: cpu usage, memory usage, etc. I've gotten a lot of good info from uptime.
I've been asked to generate a report of root user access for a security audit this June. Only 3 people have access to root…only 3 people (including myself) have the root access on our production server. What this report would display is when, and how often, root is accessed each month.
I know of the graph on uptime for login history for various users…including root….on the server. But I'd like something more detailed, if possible.
Can someone help?
