SQL Used and SQL Allocated graphs are overlapped in the SQL Memory Usage Chart presented in the SQL DM.
I have a Server memory of 114GB.
RAM allocated to SQL Server 94GB.
SQL Used show 94GB
SQL Allocated show 94GB (there is no easy way to find this in the graph)
Total Used show 104GB
When I looked at the Memory Areas graph it shows 45GB free space. This is correct – when I query the SQL server database, database has the same values that are presented in this graph.
I think "SQL Memory Usage" graph need correction or update the documentation http://wiki.idera.com/display/SQLDM/Get+memory+performance+details and explain intended use of this graph and the values presented in this graph.
