I have no idea why Idera doesn't do this. I've never seen a site that says "go check this other page to see which version of the product you're downloading".
Today I went to to download the latest version of SQLdm. The current version page said I would be downloading 10.6. So when I download the file I appended "-10.6" to the filename, otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell apart all the "IderaSQLdmInstallationKit-x64.zip" files I've downloaded previously.
Then when I went to install the file I had just downloaded and the installer told me it was actually version 11.
Why can't Idera just have the download link, version number, and changelog all together in the same place?
