hey all,
i'm currently trialing the up.time virtual appliance and ran into a bit of a show stopper today.
we rely on a lot of scripts and SNMP monitors currently, and when i set up a custom script or SNMP monitor i can't seem to find a logical way of alerting on greater than or less than thresholds.
i.e. i poll OID 1.2.3.4.5 and it returns 15. I want to set my thresholds to warn if the returned value is over 30 and critical if its over 40 how do i do that? the dropdown does not contain “is greater than” or “is less than”. just to tease me the response time thresholds do!
.. please tell me the answer isn't some convoluted regular expression? /smile.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:)” border=”0″ alt=”smile.gif” />
appreciated.
