Vm's Not Showing %'s In Global Scan

by Jun 8, 2012

Hi guys, i'm new to uptime so appologies if my question sounds a little stupid /unsure.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:???:” border=”0″ alt=”unsure.gif” /> , but….

Im currently setting up an up.time 6 server to monitor a VMware ESX environment… this is easy enough, and very quick to get all the machines registered. However, when i go to global scan and look at my virtual machines, things like CPU TOT and DISK BUSY are showing as raw data and not percentages (for instance 0KBps instead of 0%)… For physical machines its %'s across the board…

Its not a huge problem, but the view is a total mess as a result. Instead of all servers being single line and easy to read, they extend to 2-3 lines making it very hard to see the wood through the trees…

Is this a 'feature' of VM's, or is there some config setting ive missed?…

[The systems have been added by using 'Add System' and selecting 'VMware vCenter Server' as the type of system.]

Cheers
