Each PowerShell console has a small icon at the left of its title bar, and when you right-click this icon and choose Properties, you open the standard console property dialog. Here, you should look at three important settings. The first is located on the Options tab. Make sure Insert Mode is checked or else you will find yourself overtyping existing text all the time. Second, on the Layout tab make sure the Screen Buffer Size/Height is large enough for you to scroll back and browse through previous results. A good size is 3000 lines. Finally, check out the Fonts tab. Here, you can choose registered console fonts and increase size for better readability.
