Open Console History

by Aug 4, 2009

Did you know that the PowerShell console shares some key shortcuts with classic cmd consoles? For example, press F7 to open a menu with your command history. Select the command you want to re-run, and press ENTER.

If the menu appears a bit garbled, then you probably have selected a console font that does not support the standard set of console characters. This isn't bad. It just makes the border of your menu look a bit strange.
